How can I make some money from the internet like doing surveys or something?

April 15th, 2010

I would like to make some money from the internet like from doing surveys. I do not want to give any of my information when registering ( I can give a fake address though). Is there a site where you take surveys without buying noting and not giving any information and then getting like a itunes card number, walmart card number, or a bestbuy card number by email.

Yes there are 2 ways I know of to do this, but they both come with 1-3 catches, the first 1 is awsurvey’s, they dont ask for persanol thing’s but i do recomend you put real adress and name, but there are a few catches, they can eaither send you a check to your home, or pay you to your paypal account, in other words you would need a pay pal account, and another way is triond, all you do is sign up, and post things that are original and yours, if you copy or steal anything from the internet or anywhere else, they wont pay you, like something i did was make a video with my cousin and post it, and the more people that watch the video the more i get payed, and the money goes to my paypal account, or to my home in a check, or to my bank account, thus those catches, but they are free, also the aw surveys comes with 1 more catch, you have to log on to it everyday… EVERYDAY! or they will delete your acccount and you can only redeam your money from aw surveys iafter you pass $75.

What forms do I have to fill out for taxes if I make over $600 doing surveys for 1 company?

April 11th, 2010

Hello there,

This is the first I have ever really had to think about taxes and never exactly expected to make over $600 with one company doing surveys online. I am within $140 of breaking over the tax limit and I believe I will get a 1099 form if/when I do.

I will probably just stop doing the surveys so I dont have to pay out taxes and such, but I might as well ask because it will happen eventually.

I googled around and ended up getting more confused than when I started. I seen we would be considered self employed and have to pay 15%. That is understandable, but than seen would have to file federal income tax, possibly state income tax, and pay into ssi and medicaid if make over $400 combined regardless?

What on earth? I am in NJ and would appreciate any information you can give on this situation. I don’t want to get thrown in federal prison for tax evasion down the line because I was unaware.

Thanks for any useful information you can give.
1099C I am aware of but what about federal and state income tax and paying into ssi that I seen?
I see you expanded what you said orginally about me being able to write it off. I do not have another job at this time. I in fact have yet to have a job in my life which is why I have these questions.

I guess I should really get in touch with H&R block about this. If I get sent the 1099 form do I just hold onto it until I have to file with the IRS? And again what of paying into SSI if you make over $400 period?

Thanks for the reply and any more info

Wait until the end of the year to see what you earn for the total year and then file before April 15th next year.
Hope this helped.

How to make money from online surveys etc?

April 9th, 2010

Ive just been made redundant and i have a lot of free time on my hands. Can you make money from answering surveys or is it a load of crap? Ive tried a few sites but its pointless redirecting, giving your name and adress over n over again……Is this just a myth and a stunt?

I’ve visited and participated in various sites where people can make money and was most annoyed by how many of them used "employees" as spam mules. For example, Cash Crate requires its people to pass out their email addresses like they’re candy, and though people might make a couple of dollars here and there for their efforts, no one compensates them for the amount of spam their email (or alternately managed email) address receives.

If you’d like to read a list of options which includes spam-free sites like DeviantArt, Zenfolio, eHow, and so many others, please click on the link below.

How much is spent on phone surveys annually?

April 7th, 2010

How much is spent by corporations and market research firms on phone surveys?

I’d especially love to learn the breakdown of dollars by buyer. Thanks!

Due to the intellectual property, and the psychology/science that goes behind deploying these types of services, it can be very expensive. I have heard good things about NBRI’s telephone surveys: http://www.nbrii.com/Deploy_surveys/Telephone_Surveys.html they only tailor to large businesses though.

Is answering online surveys is one of the real work from home jobs?

April 5th, 2010

I want to know if answering online surveys is one of the most successful work from home jobs that an unemployed person can do.

No really. But don’t fall for the work at home envelope jobs! Or typing jobs. They are all a scam. If you need some help, you should contact your local government agencies for assistance.

What website gives you the most money for completed surveys?

April 3rd, 2010

I need some money and I dont want to waste my time with surveys that pay you 2 cents and then you have to wait until you get like 40 dollars before you get the check.

its a waste of time.

so does anyone know of a website that pays you big bucks for completing surveys and so you can redeem the check quickly?

I have never seen a legitimate survey site on the web, and I doubt they exist. Under no circumstances should you give any money making site your credit card number. Never sign up for any "free" service that is free for one month and then you have to cancel it to avoid credit card charges. You will find it very hard to cancel. The phone number they give you to cancel may always be busy, so you can’t cancel. They will often charge your credit card even after you think you have canceled. Never give a survey site your bank account number or personal information.
You will find many people on this site that claim they made a lot of money at such-and-such a website. They are usually liars trying to make money. They will say: "Go to cashcrap . com/q2347." The "q2347" is a signal to the Cashcrap site that you are being referred to them by "q2347." If they sucker money out of you, "q2347" gets a kickback. These coded signals can be hidden by different methods in the link. Other people will refer you to their own private website or blog for the purpose of trying to get money off you. The bad spelling and grammar is usually a good tip off of this.

I would recommend trying some other source other than the Internet to make money. The Internet is overrun with scam artists.

How do I make money taking surveys?

April 1st, 2010

I tried to join some of the get paid to sites to make some extra cash, but it did not work out. Most of the sites are asking me to pay to join them. But how do I know if they are really legit. If you have good experience and have made money taking surveys please give me an advice.
Thanks.

Hello Lilly,

I had the same problem. I was not sure which survey sites were the good ones. Then I came across http://getpaidto-surveys.com/ . On that site I found a list of sites where I can take surveys for money. They are all free to join. Some of them even have a member forum and support. Those surveys sites are also available for people who don’t live in the US.

How Do You Get Past The Surveys On Bootleg Sites ?

March 30th, 2010

I do them, fill out fake info, and it still doesn’t work. I don’t know how the hell to get past those annoying surveys.

Yeah, most of them are fake, hundreds of forms to fill then it doesn’t work at the end. If you’re looking for a clean movie site, you can try http://www.zenetworks.co.uk , i use it most of the time, it’s a great site with no popup ads or of course annoying surveys! :)

Enjoy!

How do I get rid of these Yahoo Advertiser surveys that keep popping up?

March 28th, 2010

I’m about to stop using YA if they don’t stop. I once clicked on it thinking maybe if I take the survey, they’ll go away, but they were questions like "what’s your favorite store to shop at?" I don’t feel I should be forced into answering questions about where I shop. I also have a new Mac Book and I never got those surveys requests when I was using my PC. Could that have something to do with?

The answer is : Firefox or Google Chrome (browsers) which are at www.mozila.org or… www.google.com
because firefox and I believe google have great pop up blocking techinques… and firefox has ADBLOCK addon …. to block ADS! great browser if ya ask me!
